As part of activities to herald in the D day a well-attended debate was organized on the topic “teaching and learning in a demotivating environment the teacher is more challenged than the student” which was expertly handled to the admiration of all and sundry. The girls who spoke to the topic won they day affirming the fact that the teacher is more challenged than the student in a demotivating teaching and learning environment.

The well behaved students guided by a dedicated staff of the school marched through the principal streets of vakpo to announce the 48th Speech and Price Giving day celebration, a day set aside to reward both students and teachers who have distinguished themselves in their various fields of endeavor as well as others who have contributed in no small measure to the development of the school.
